Phishing — I just got a very realistic PayPal email with a poorly written receipt for a sizeable amount which could be real or could be designed to cause panic and have me click the available links — which you should never ever do. I could find nothing about it when I opened PayPal in a separate browser. I did notice that PayPal has changed their foreign currency options.

I've been getting all kinds of fake PayPal phishing emails, but every one of them spells Help Centre like that. Uh-huh.

An English guy I follow on LiveJournal posted that his Mac had been infected after clicking on a Facebook picture and that the technician from the message had been very nice and helpful for only 50 pounds. (I've seen that phishing photo myself.) I got to do the 'You've been phished' post and he may have gotten his 50 pounds back.
