Did the earth move for you too?
Nov. 13th, 2017 08:54 amThey're pounding stuff in the ground for the new Aldi grocery store/condo complex a diagonal block away. When they start the whole house rattles for a few seconds and then just vibrates until they stop. Like a visit from the plumber, it ain't as much fun as it is in the pornos.
Once in the long ago when dinosaurs still walked the earth, my mother put some change into a motel vibrating bed, not that my mother often stayed in the motels or spent money lavishly on vibrating beds. But, of course, the power immediately went out as if TPTB wuz punishing her for that 75 cents. Sometime in the middle of the night after we'd all gone to sleep, the power came back on and that vibrating bed started up and showed 'em what it could do.
