It's a cool -18 degrees fondly Fahrenheit here this morning at Washburn High School. (Well, -17.6 if you want to get technical.) It's supposed to warm all the way up to -5 degrees today. I may have to have lunch inside the building instead of my usual Subway sandwich.
I was on my way to work this morning, late as usual, when a guy about a block away from my house flagged me down and asked for a jump. I said I was late and didn't have time. I didn't add that I was leery of jumping a car on a very cold morning from a small car with a battery of uncertain age. In my del Sol it would not have been a problem; in the TT, I'm not so confident.
I failed the Mn hospitality test -- and, no, I don't carry jumper cables either.
