The next time I get arrested in a tea room...

Roll Call quoted the Aug. 8 police report as saying that Craig had handed the arresting officer a business card that identified him as a member of the Senate.

''What do you think about that?'' Craig is alleged to have said, according to the report. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/us/AP-Craig-Arrest.html

Isn't this the second Republican to solicit a police officer in the past little while?

You'd think they'd learn from each other.

There was a lovely clip on headline news this morning where he laments pleading guilty. Turns out that on further reflection, he has realised that he did nothing wrong and regrets the plea. (The locals here probably lulled him into false self-acceptable by their tolerance for his "problem" if not for where he exercises it.) I'm sure that Romney's campaign was sooooo sorry to see him go.
