Or the 10th, unless Minnesota law has changed on that in the last few years. I can't find any online information about the deadline, but when I lived there, the info that came with the tabs mentioned that the new tabs had to be on your license plates by the 10th of the month after the expiration date.

Wrote the check for mine yesterday, the envelope is sitting out for the postman. But mine are Sept. meaning I have until the end of next month (in fact I think Geri is right and there's a 10 day grace period in addition).
