Cool article in the NY Times, which I've yet to rescue off the frozen porch, about food in literature and sandwich memories of the writer. Three degrees fondly Fahrenheit out there this morning, and the windchill is waay below that. Winter is leaving with a vengeance.

Call me weird but I kindda like the bitter cold. It's nice to know winter hasn't forgotten us. I like that it keeps me home hibernating.
