Yesterday morning, I took
tammylc to the airport for her trip home, and took off for the Elections Warehouse. Our recently defeated SecOState decided to run an audit of the election process by recounting (by hand) three races in two randomly selected precincts. With observers present and the whole ball of wax. I got to the election warehouse at 8:45 or so, and we started shortly after nine. We finished around 4:00. If any precinct in the state hits an error threshold, then either more or all of the precincts in the state will be recounted.
Last night, two friends from Fargo came to stay. We went out to It's Greek to Me, then off to hear a son play in a band at the 400. He didn't start playing until fairly later. After his band finished, we dashed back home and I hopped into bed.
