Checking the Strib, that is correct, along with the "Hand of Tim". However, the Mayors of Minneapolis and St. Paul, both Democrats, were also major supporters. After all, this will get a lot of Republican dollars into very Democratic cities.
I wish there was some way to make the Democratic and Republican conventions use the same city -- at the same time. The results would be amusing to watch from a distance.
