Awesome MNSTF party at Miss Laura Jean's yesterday. I was going to help the World Fantasy Convention mail out their PR, but I crawled back into bed, and when I woke up, there was just time to start dip production, shower (forgetting to shave), and run out the door for Laura Jean's. She's an excellent hostess, and does incredible parties -- the fact that she does it without a kitchen is amazing.

She had a BBQ, and stuck a grill out off the back door. Everybody brought brats, burgers, hot dogs, salmon cakes and the like and ran out and grilled them. Laura's parties are always great. I left around 11:00 and gave Kevin a ride home. They'd started playing Apples to Apples around 10:30.

The MNSTF meeting was the first nominations meeting for the board. It seems as if I was just nominated and elected a few weeks ago, not a year. Got nominated again. Damn, musta done something wrong. (G)

World Fantasy's PR looks great, and Laura, Susan and I are stuck now. We volunteered to run the consuite, and they cast our names in ink.

Drewan converted the Minicon PR-2 into HTML for the Microsoft phobes who are manning the website. Once again, geeks that can't open a .doc file totally amaze me (and you know who you are). Then again, I amaze easily.

Hope you're feeling better, Laurel, we missed you.
