Have you gone to one of these before?

Do we really need advance tickets?

I went to the last one, well the theater part. No, you don't need advanced tickets. It's not high art, but it's a chance to look at what local filmakers are doing and party with them afterwards if you want to. The last one was on a day where it was snowing. I did not go to the party afterwards. Shocking, I know.

I went to the last one with [livejournal.com profile] lsanderson, it was a fun night of short films and, if not for the snow and needing to get home to Ericka, I bet the after party could have been fun too. I'm undecided about going to this one because I'll be on vacation all next week and don't know if I'll feel like being out again on the following Wednesday.
