Firewire?

OK, so why does Mitsubishi suddenly include firewire on their TVs? (Not that any of my components have firewire, mind you, but it's a great idea.) Shopping for a 9' optical audio cable and a 9' SVHS cable that I'm sure I've got around here someplace if I could just lay my hands on it...
