An estimator is supposed to arrive shortly to give me a bid on a new roof. I suspect I won't be amused. Meanwhile, work has started in the basement, and Thong's rather irritated. My old roommate, Vern, is doing the work, and Thong's unimpressed with his speed. I'm also unimpressed with our speed as we were going to do most of it, now four months after the new furnace went in. I have avoided going down to the basement yet to see how much (or little) got done. More is sure to follow.
