How to Cook Everything

lsandersonPPT runs Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything in the HD section of Time/Warner cable. I've been impressed with the cooking parts of the show and the banter around them. I've not been impressed with the "WoW, it's hot, let's go jump in the swimming pool/hot tub" bits. (For that, I'd much prefer the Naked Chef....) In the episode I caught last, they did a skate before they hopped in the hot tub, and the taping is impressive. I also caught the tail end of the beet ravioli session, and that worked better with the woman. There was more talk about food, and less dicing and dancing around the cost of ingredients and other ephemera. It's also a cookbook and a DVD, and it has its own website.
