The bundle of jury duty stuff from when I served on a jury. Summer of 1997. Nothing as serious as pedophilia -- only murder in the second degree and assault in the third degree. Although, like the Jackson case, race was involved. It was a black man, an asian woman, and the murdered victim, was their child. It seemed like a vacation in the month of July, at least until the alternates got sent home and we had to come up with a verdict. Been there, done that. Not a great deal of fun in retrospect. Two adults in an apartment with a dead baby. We sent one adult up the river. I'd guess they planted the baby long before the trial wended its way to court. Don't know what happened to the other adult. Magna Carta aside, it's not a great feeling.
