Good. Hopefully, those so called journalists will never work again, but I think Fox will probably pick them up post haste, given the quality of thier work and how helpful to ShrubCo they were.

I think you need to consider one aspect of this whole affair.
These documents were shown to the powers that be in the White House.
They were cleared for publication.
To fire someone for being manipulate is just wrong.

Sorry. If they were real journalists, they would have wondered about how obiviously fake they were, and would wonder doubly why the White House seemed so non-chalant.

In other words, a real journalist wouldn't have been played like that. These guys, instead, destroyed what was left of CBS's credibility. Not only do they deserve to be fired, they deserved to be fired much faster.

The cost of being a journalist is the more important the story is, the more carefuly you have to be that you have the story right. They failed to even do the basic fact checking on these documents.

They screwed up, and the damage they did to CBS (and to Democracy in the US as a whole) is huge.
