I heard on MPR yesterday that I shoulda mulched those bulbs I planted.. that once again this year is going to be a bad winter for bulbs. The second year I moved into this house, I bought a bunch of bulbs and planted them all over the yard. About a dozen showed up the next spring. This fall, I planted a hundred daffodils around the yard. I'll have to wait and see how many show up.
