Thursday night at Barbettes

Thursday night, I took gerisullivan out for dinner at Barbettes. Susan, Gavi, laurafish, and davidschroth also joined. Other than a screw up with the table when I changed the reservation from four to 6-7 -- we can't take you at 7:00 then; it'll hafta be 7:30 -- everything was just great.

Hey, Gavi and I enjoyed the extra few minutes to each fill tiny bags of polished rocks at the Science Museum Gift Shop! Even if the rest of you were then waiting for us when the table became available earlier than expected.

Many thanks! My favorite part of the meal was simply being able to look at you all. Not that I'm complaining about the fondue, risotto, or stout, mind you. And the tour of laurafish and davidschroth's new home...WOW. What a marvelous space for living, and for parties.
