I realized, with some sadness, that I'd hafta remove the No W (circle, slash, & W) sign from my car's bumper on Monday. It would just not do to be seen cruising from polling place to polling place while maligning a letter of the alphabet like that.

After Monday, it will either be passe, or a good idea to have it off, so the Powers That Be won't arrest you. Hopefully, it will be out of date.

A great pity, but you're right. You need to *appear* non-partisan while working officially, it's not good enough to just behave non-partisanly.

Appearances matter a lot. It's the right thing to do.

Park 100 feet away from the door of the polling place if it's a private building or 100 feet away from the land it's on if it's a public building. And, yes, I have a 100' string in my election kit bag.

That's a good sign.

There are good signs all over.
