lsandersonI’ve got an election meeting tonight at the warehouse. I expect it to be exciting.
I hope we review absentee ballots. I hope to find out I’m not delivering them on Election Day, but that’s another story.
I hope we go over poll watchers and challengers, what they can do and what they cannot.
I hope the travel kit has a 100’ piece of string in it, and that we review the law about the difference between how far you have to be from public and private polling places.
I hope to hear we’re fully staffed in the 6th Ward, but I fear that we are not.
I’m sure I’ll be glad CDT has returned to CST come Tuesday morning.

The newest techie from Qworst has called me twice to leave messages about the progress, or lack there of. The new router/gateway/modem did not fix the DSL problem. Two of their techies told me a very bad way to set it up this morning which meant that I lost the ability to get to the router and had to physically reset the thing. I finally had to give up and run out the door this morning while she was on hold with the ActionTec tech support.
