Call for Election Judges

The League of Women Voters in Minneapolis just put out a plea for additional election judges in many Minneapolis precincts. They need DFLers as well as folks willing to represent other Parties.

A 2 hour Training is needed so respond ASAP if you're willing to be a judge.

Judges must be 18 years old, eligible to vote and be able to read and write in English. You can request where you want to be a judge. You don't have to live in the precinct or in Minneapolis.

don't wear any political stuff to training; they'll ask you to take it off.

past that, being an election judge looks like it's going to be a lot like working registration at a con. (my notes talk about the pre-reg line and the at the door line...)

i'm going to be at east lake; where are you guys going to be?

The training class is pretty much how-to -- how to register people to vote, how to assist them, and so forth.

I got the paper forms but never got around to sending them back. On line form is a much better plan.
