The day the busted Eames chair came home.
Sep. 27th, 2004 08:51 pmThe guy delivered the Eames chair tonight. He'd taken it off to see if he could glue it something like nine months ago. I'd half thought he was scamming. He called once to ask about it. It's quite a few years old, and rosewood. They don't make them in rosewood any longer.
He also brought back the one kitchen chair that broke. It's glued. And I sent off the dinning room arm chair that broke. Back sooner this time, I hope.
I managed to get the Eames chair up to the third floor and find all the cushions for it. They've been hiding under the eaves all summer. The footstool is still down in the living room.
