I had to click on the "Scandinavian dressing" one to find out whether it meant to wear clothes like a Scandinavian or to use their sauce on a salad. (There's French dressing, Italian dressing, and Russian dressing, why not Scandinavian dressing?)

Ranch dressing, you might like to know, comes from California, where I am. It was invented by the proprietor of a guest ranch (hence the name) in Santa Barbara.
