lsandersonYesterday, I laid down for a nap around 7:30 and ended up sleeping until 3:00. Bummer.
Today is supposed to be gorgeous here in Our Fair Cities, and I've got a list of things I want to get done.
After I dropped my sister off at the airport, I wandered around IKEA looking for furniture for upstairs. Then hit Sears to check out their appliance sale, which wuzn't much of a deal, hit Menards to get the measurements for the vanity that should have been built quite some time ago for upstairs, stopped at Best Buy to drool over laptops and big screen TVs, and then stopped at the Billiards store on Lyndale just shy of Crosstown. I never see any cars in the lot, but it was a jamming concern. They had the perfect gaming table and chairs for upstairs -- perfect except for the price. Heck, they had bar stools in the place that cost over $1,000. I guess that's not something I've ever looked at -- at least not in the type that I could not pick up at Target. And, they had billiard tables stacked up to the ceiling. Two stories tall.
IKEA was sold out of the little armchair that I think would work.
Back to the drawing boards.
