The plumber called around 4:00. They're mostly done and he thought the inspector had passed it. That means I hafta start thinking about wallboard. Amazing amounts of it was being whacked, pounded and cut off the wall when I left this morning. One of Thong's snow globes bit the dust, but that was the only known casualty as of when I left. It does mean somebody has to patch the wallboard and paint again... sigh.
On the plus side, lead pipe all gone. I shoulda taken a picture of it. It was kind of cool and organic looking (well, for plumbing anyway). Still, I'll be very happy when the bathroom is back together and usable. Now the second floor toilet is sitting on the third floor, tub's still in my office, second floor toilet's in Thong's office, sink, vanity, & top are sitting in the sun room where my computer is as well. And there's massive amounts of nekkid wall. Without plaster, without wallboard, and without laths.
