I feel a need to say how much I HATED "I Care A Lot."

It was a great premise, there were several times that the story set up for something interesting to happen further along, and then it all turned to shit about 2/3 of the way into the movie. The ending was garbage. Terrible, pointless, stinky garbage.

I suspect this story began with a great script, and then some jackass changed it because they didn't like the ending that was appropriate to the story.

I saw your post earlier, but I have not watched the movie. The casual corruption at the start is a bit offputting even if they are setting it all up for payback.

I was expecting a "revenge" movie to happen. I noticed the blase attitude toward how awful Pike's character is, but I really thought it was to justify a brutal ending.
