The only thing I can come up with is the notion of an ass-ghost: an unpleasant smell associated with a loud and uncouth noise, not generally appreciated in polite company or where people are eating.

But I'm sure I know even less about this than you, David.

I'm guessing that Larry will find the ass-ghost concept very amusing.

I expect the threads are loosely tied to a local author/bully/ass who spent the entire Minicon weekend ensconced in the hotel bar.

But I could be mistaken...
