They're still pounding away building the Aldi with apartments above on the corner of Lyndale and 26th St. It feels like sitting on top of a top-loading washing machine on the spin cycle.

A couple of years ago a new apartment building was put in on 38th Street. There were several days when the entire house shook every few minutes. Not fun at all, and I can't help feeling that it's now more likely to shake when a heavy truck goes by.

Is this the southeast corner that (IIRC) was once a futon shop and later a tea shop?

It was Rex Hardware on the corner and houses on Lyndale.

We're not feeling the shaking, but we're a bit farther away from 26th and Lyndale than we normally are...
