Luck o' the Draw

So last night, I went over to the Rosedale AMC theater with a free pass to see Deepwater Horizon, an upcoming movie whose trailer looked a bit interesting. Traffic was really slow on 36, but I got there about a half hour before the show started -- to late as it turns out. I cruised one lane looking for parking, went to the next lane and had a pickup pullout in front of me. Yes! Walked through the rain to the theater, went in to find a very short line (because the theater was already full), and stood there while they checked for empty seats. Well, maybe two, but they'd hafta check -- and the rest of you can leave an email address and go home. About then a young woman said she had an empty seat because her sister had to leave. (I was the only single left in the line.) The movie started a bit slow, but picked up steam as it went on. I left thinking I shoulda bought a lottery ticket.

Meanwhile, the small chest freezer in the basement haz quit working and ditto for Someone's PC. I'm off to get an oil change. Methinks the while o' fortune haz probably flipped quite well.
