As long as he gets a different architect than the EMP, that sounds cool.

It's way more than "pledged". The museum has done presentations at the past two Worldcons, is currently negotiating with the Mark Protection Committee about having a name something like the "World Science Fiction Museum", and the building is under construction. I'm going to Seattle in April (for the Nebula Award weekend) and they're going to have hard-hat tours of the facility under construction; it's supposed to open to the public this summer.
