XP Launch today... The digital films wuz interesting, one very impressionistic, but there wuz a severe shortage of nekkid men, although a few mannequins, and brief mention of simulated anal intercourse. I thought I had a ticket for something this morning, but it's Saturday instead. Kudos to the Walker for their awesome calendar on the web, the one with the dates wrong... Here I sit, with the day off work and nothing to do until noon. Colder than the warmer areas of hell outside this morning. The wind is whistling like crazy and bits of snow are flying. Guess it would help if I checked the storm windows in my suddenly cooler office. Guess it would help more if I insulated the floor in the bay window and replaced the 1907 bay window with high-e glass. I'm gonna do that right after I win the lottery. Have to try and call Erik, but it would sure help if I could find his phone number. I know it's in my e-mails somewhere. You'd think I'da put it in the address book, but I usually e-mail, rarely phone people. It just seems more civilized for us shy people.
