That Auden review is how I discovered Auden. That is, it's quoted on some of the LotR editions, and at fifteen, I figured anybody who liked Tolkien should be looked up, and there was Auden.

It was nice to read it again; I tracked it down years ago but don't have a copy.

Auden could be very crusty, but it's such a mellow review.
