Until we're prohibted from raising & killing animals for food, I don't see any good reason for forbidding prohibidding us from feeding them exceptionally for liver productrion or whatever. Mind you, I don't expect to pay for pate de foi gras more than once or twice more in my lifetime -- and I think my cardiologiist would probably give a nod to this. . (She understadnds the Importance of an occasonal Exception.)

Oh, that fish stock sounds great, and I'll get a couple of salmon heads next time I'm over at the Hong Kong Market and they're 99cents per pound. And the cheeks are delicious as solid food, if removed before they're over-cooked, so it's a win-win thing.
