I didn't recognize many*, but it turns out the list was mostly from things I haven't read. (Also, Brian Sanderson seemed over represented.)

I recognized most of the ones I've read (which was maybe a fifth of the listing), though I missed one of the Pratchett books. I of course am quite familiar with the first sentence of To Reign in Hell, which I suspect will be on the obscure side for most people taking the quiz.

Awfully heavy on Brandon Sanderson, I have to say. I had either read the books long ago or had mostly not heard of them, except for the Max Gladstone, which is on my get-to-this list; ditto the Schanoes.
