I went back to work this morning, well, late this morning. Stopped at the post office to pick up a change of address kit for my aunt. I might as well change it to here. Received two more late birthday cards for her. Have to enclose an obit and return it to them.

Thong claimed to have seen her ghost in the basement amongst all of the things from her room.

Oddly enough, the comments from her friends about me and Myra and Karen are probably more upsetting than comforting.
Irritating exchange with the small hometown newspaper. They are not technologically able to open a zipped file. Macheads. They have my sympathies for being technological idiots. Since I'm trying to get them to publish the obit for free, I felt it wise to refrain from point this out to them. At least until they set the obit.

Yesterday, Myra, Karen and I wrote thank-you notes for the checks and cash memorials for my aunt. I've got a pile of checks still sitting here. We took a break in the afternoon to go and see The Matrix at the MegaStar at Southdale. I cannot remember the last movie that I went to see. After we finished all of the notes that we had address for (excepting one to General Mills and Jim Ramstad), we ran to Cafe Barbette for dinner. Thong wouldn't come. We drank a bottle of Prosecco, well, at least Myra and I did. Karen and Myra had soup and salad, I had a New York steak. Myra ordered the warm olives, which were surprisingly good.
