I brought a quart o' Lunds potato salad (it was on sale), which I doctored up with some chopped onions. I also brought purple potato salad, which I made in a rush after the farmer's market. Small purple potatoes, (I could not find fingerlings) boiled and sliced, in vermouth, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon thyme, Italian's parsley, fresh dill, salt, pepper, and Tabasco. To cool and marinade it quickly, I put it in a plastic bag and laid in the fridge, moving it around every once in a while. Then I stuck the bag in the freezer for a similar stint. I thought it quite good, and so very purple. Both flew garlic chive flower flags. Three each.

I also bought a seedless Black Diamond watermelon at the farmer's market. About half of it got eaten after the cakes. I fear the remaining half has not long in the world.

I also brought and assembled my outdoor fan. B&K brought a fan as well, so we were at least a two fan party!
