("Champignon," shamelessly stolen from French, is a German word for "mushroom" -- specifically button or Parisian mushrooms, but what I remember being used as a general "Did you buy mushrooms" sense.)
Someone was seen eating clam chowder for breakfast this morning along with a resuscitated baguette and crackers. You cannot claim we only eat water fowl no more. And no complaints about the sliced ham being too smoky so far. (I was buying the ham when the cheese sign jumped out and bit me.)
