When Republicans took back the House of Representatives in 2010, we made spending cuts a priority. Since then, the House GOP has decreased their spending by 15% and with the leadership of Speaker Boehner, will save taxpayers more than $400 million by the end of this year.

This proves that there are intelligent ways to make cuts without inflicting higher taxes on struggling Americans, taking away White House tours, or creating unnecessary travel delays.

We know in these hard times all Americans must do more with less, and it is important that our government does the same. With your support, a Republican House has been able to make common-sense cuts, and we hope to do the same in the Senate by taking back the majority.

I heard that Minnesota is going to have a fucking clothing sales tax for the first time in ever. Just like "Only Nixon can go to China" - It took the Goddamn Democrats to finally pass that regressive tax. It's not in the party platform, but somehow it made it to the top of the heap quick.
