It must be a slow movie week. The Times rates it a bit higher than I would, although I enjoyed it. It's an OK movie, probably better if you like Scotland and Scotch. It's got some Glaswegian in it, which I find harder to understand than Embra, probably because I've spent more time in Edinburgh than Glasgow.The one good time in Glasgow was to hear Joan Sutherland sing. The one bad time involved knives, a roundabout, a couple of punks booted out of a lorrie (for reasons that became quickly obvious) and a local, who was much more experienced with crazy punks brandishing knives than I was. I've heard that Glasgow has changed.
