Just sayin'
Apr. 3rd, 2013 09:17 amThe next time we want to throw an unwinnable war, let's make it cancer, Alzheimer's, or AIDS. We can give bright ribbons to researchers, and gobs and gobs of money to universities and have their marching bands play. It won't be the same, of course, if we lose. No reparation payments, no rebuilding, no missing WMD. Sure, a few munitions makers will miss the money, but think of the pharmaceutical companies! And, even if we lose, we just might have killed less people.
