Ha. I took it. Went into it thinking I had 2 wrong, which is what I got. I blanked on what a prepositional phrase is.

Same 12/14 here, including the prepositional phrase. Before that, pride stung my pride.

I'm more than a tad surprised that I did as well as that. Not only is it an UK English grammar quiz, I missed out on the final hammering in of grammar lessons in junior high school when they put me into advanced English and we spent the time studying propaganda instead.

I'm having trouble reading, but we scored the same.

I have sometimes wished my last name started with an X, because then my name would be a ROT-13 *palindrome*!

Nothing prevents you from adopting a middle name that starts with X. Heck, your new middle name could even be "Xnerak."

Totally a trick question. (I got that one wrong, too.)

I had to think about that one for a moment, but once I remembered the two definitions of the word, it was clear for me.

I am relieved and pleased that I got 14/14.

12 out of 14 because of their stupid little tricks. I really hate tests that pretend to look for knowledge but really just want you to be alert for gotchas.

14/14, though I had to think twice about the clause questions. Everything else was a doddle.
