Her lungs are starting to fail as the nerves continue shutting down. The anesthetic and intubation tube probably contributed as well, but she's having trouble breathing.
Hmm, not sure I'm up to standards then, I didn't figure out she was still at the hospital until I went to take her car to the dealers for service at 7:30 this morning. I took a big bunch of flowers and discovered her door was shut. When I asked the nurse, I discovered that she was in hospital, and that they'd called for a copy of the DNR/DNV (as a precaution).
Even when it was my mother, not my aunt, I couldn't be there, or even on instant alert, 24-7, and neither can you. You're doing a wonderful job of doing a good thing.
