only one of those I did not know, that they were going to give Medicare to 133% over poverty level.
The question:
2. Will the health reform law allow a government panel to make decisions about end-of-life care for people on Medicare? No, the law will not do this. You answered "Yes, the law will do this."
----
that's not entirely correct. The early version of this was that this bill would cover all aspects of care, and that includes end-of-life. It wasn't a "death panel" but it was saying that we have to cover people from cradle to grave, and it was the grave part that made the fundies jump up and down.
The government won't make decisions about what to do, end of life, but it will provide assistance for such care, and it will make decisions, and decisions are made by a panel, so technically it's still accurate. But no government panel is going to pull the plug on Grandma.
