Well, OK, of the Nelson Center... I thought it was good. A wee bit warm, especially for us scandihoovians. The parking lot was packed, but somebody pulled out of street parking about a block away.

They had tickets for food and, err, beverages, and unlike my usual experience at Pride, where you pay $1,000.00 for seventeen tickets and everything is priced at chords of 3, 7 and 9, they sold pop and water for one ticket. And they even had a sign up which stated that left over tickets would be considered donations to the ASI. I guess they just ain't got no good Swedish math people to tell 'em how to do it. For $15 worth of tickets, I had two cups o' bheer (3 tickets each), meatballs (2 tickets) and a Swedish Pancake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries (2 tickets). They also had samosas, sausage inna bun with mashed potatoes, and ice cream. I didn't try them The were making the Swedish pancakes under an awning with portable induction hot plates, but that's not a job I woulda wanted on a humid, 90 degrees fondly Fahrenheit day. (Of course, they had it easy compared to the glass blowers...) They also sold head-pieces, for 9 or so tickets, and they wuz popular with the kiddies. Why I'd want to put pollen producing devices anywhere near I my nose, I'll never know.

The Swedish ambassador spoke, and the ASI head. I caught some Aztec dancers that seemed to have drifted in from an alternate reality, but it was the AC so I didn't complain much.

I ran into another PSJ in the shop, which seems somewhat shrunk in size. I resisted the blue plastic punch bowl because, even though it would make a spiffy rice paper bathing area, it was plastic and it wuz not cheap like me. The store area of the mansion is quite, quite barren.
