Off soon to visit my aunt. Yesterday, Thong and I ran to the farmer's market and I got a few bunches of glads for her. She'd mentioned that she loves glades the previous week. (Too many bunches for her vase as it turned out, but we fit 'em all in something.)

Friday, I purchased a headset for her. She was looking at buying a new phone because she's having trouble holding up the cordless phone that I loaned her. I did not tell her that the headset I got cost $50, although the phone she was looking at was $179. The headset with the phone had a spiffy led on the boom of the mike that indicated it was in use. She used it on a couple of calls while I was there. I hope the mike is better than a regular phone, because she's starting to have more trouble breathing. I also took her cell phone to a dealer, who just shut off the security. She's been having problems with the SIMM card in it.

She has the Saturn wagon back from the guy who was leasing it. Anybody want to buy a car?

Everybody loves glads. Don't they? I do. They're so pretty,

I couldn't afford the car. Sorry!

My stepmother can't stand glads. When she was young, she had to go to a lot of funerals. Glads are very common funeral flowers, so she automatically associates them with death.

But I agree with you - they are very pretty.

Ah. That makes sense. I've never been to a funeral in my life, so I wouldn't know they were funeral flowers. I thought that was lilies.
