A Taste of Iowa Prosciutto
Herb Eckhouse, an owner of La Quercia, which makes cured pork products in Norwalk, Iowa, will slice his prosciutto to taste, free, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday at Murray’s Cheese, 254 Bleecker Street (Leroy Street). And on Tuesday, also at Murray’s, there will be a class from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in pairing American sparkling wines with cheeses, $75: murrayscheese.com.
