I discovered that my camera has a polarized view screen. I put my sun glasses on, which I rarely wear, and when I rotated the camera, bye bye view screen.

From what people say, I believe they all are polarized; that problem is widely reported, but I think it's inherent in the technology.

I rarely wear the sun glasses and have not encountered the issue before. Of course there's no other view finder... Blind shot a few too many pictures.
