Hostas on Walkabout?

The hostas seem to have gone walkabout. Several of the green leaf variety have decamped altogether.

The 55+ apartment where my mother lives has had issues with flowering plants disappearing from their planters on a number of occasions. Someone has decided it is cheaper to steal than to purchase.

That's happened here too, although they just took the planters, no fooling around with the flowers. Someone decided to move these, and the solid hosta bed between the houses is now a new hosta bed with much less green ones.
