Pioneer Press Peeps Diorama Contest?
Feb. 29th, 2012 07:41 amOne of the signs that spring is just around the corner: the annual Pioneer Press Peeps Diorama contest is open for entries. Pick your scene, and assemble marshmallow chicks and bunnies. You can make a still life, or a video of 2 minutes or less.
Wildly imaginative past entries replicate current events, poke fun at tabloid stars, re-create the uniquely Minnesotan, and before you ask, it seems as if just about every pun on the name "Peep" has been done.
How many packets of candy do you need? Entries can have just one Peep, but some have hundreds.
Got your idea, and your packet of Peeps? Here's how to enter. The competition closes at 5 p.m. on March 28. Good luck!

I'll give a nod to five years of entries at the Washington Post for sheer artistic value.
