The house next door is filling it up with cement. I know, I know, it makes no sense to me either.

There's two cement trucks and a conveyor belt dumping cement in one of their basement windows.

Biker gangs in Canada have a tendency to use a lot of concrete and steel reinforcing in their clubhouses. Do your neighbours favour Harleys?

I helped do this in Greg and Cat's current house, on a smaller scale (wheelbarrows of cement from the alley up the side of the house and dumped in the chute built into a basement window). That was replacing a good chunk of the basement floor.
