CONvergence

Day two. Rocked. Saw more panels about making movies. Signed up for FilmCon in Madison in February. Took a few more pictures. The music scene seems better this year. I did not partake much, but Nate and Louie, and a whole host of others did. The main ballroom had a techno/trance DJ all night. The dance was quite well attended.
I did not attend the Masquerade this
year. Instead, Mike Schneider, Doug Friauf and I went and ate at the hotel (first time ever for me, I think). I caught a bit of the half-time show, but then wandered off.
One costume, a guy as a borg, was incredible. He had more blinky lights on the costume than I've seen in a long time. In the dance, he looked like a christmas tree. (He walked along a tall stack of chairs, and the light reflected from the chrome legs of the chairs -- it was an interesting sight, but I was not able to capture it on the camera.)
I finally met UglyZebras and Bloodloss Girl. Talked with them for quite some time at Cthulhu Coffee.
